Quick Start

The Last Yakuza (TLY) is a strategy/team play based multiplayer game. When you first register for yakuza within a period, you will notice that many people are ahead of you in the game. Don’t worry, this is temporary as the next game period everybody starts at the same level. Use your first session to get an idea of how to play the game.

After you register and receive your email and login, the game will bring you to your account page. This page will tell you all information in regards to your account. If all is perfect you can proceed.

Once you reach the play page, the game will prompt you for a game name. This can be anything you like and will be your call sign during the game period. The game will also ask you for what part of Japan you want to begin in, this is a hard decision but pick your favorite for now as you can travel from prefect to prefect during game play.

So now you are in the game, you will notice that on the top menu bar it shows everything you have. The game gives you starting credits and cash, this varies from game period to game period but your turns are what make the game go round.

The object of the game is very basic, you must use your money and turns to create more money in the game; however, in yakuza, having the most money in your bank does not create your overall worth. The strength of your Freelance Yakuza is what will make your Net-worth soar.

Because this is the Quick Start Section we will not explain what each action does but understand that you must recruit citizens to work and bring in cash for you as well as Freelance Yakuza Members who protect them. Both these factions must always be as close to 100% happy, this is achieved by going to the “Aquire” section and purchasing swords, cars and drugs for the Yakuza, and drugs, medication and rations for the Citizens. To also make the Citizens happy, you must make sure their payout percentage is also at the right level at the home page.

At any point you want to see where you rank in your prefect you choose the “Supremacy” link and to see your overall rank in the game you choose the “Global Supremacy” link.
